HM4.0 Reusable 4 Vessel Ultrasound Training Model is a full ultrasound training block model giving you up to three thousand sticks. Making this the most Cost-effective phantom on the market. With the use of this phantom clinicians may train and develop skills to perform ultrasound-guided vascular and arterial interventions. The phantom contains simulating blood vessel that branches into two after a short distance in order to resemble a bifurcation. This allows the trainees to recognize a bifurcation and to locate the correct position of needle insertion even in a real human body. Once a trainee correctly introduces the needle to the targeted vessel, the positive fluid flow will give positive feedback showing that they have successfully completed the intervention.
As with other Humimic ultrasound training models, this phantom will perform well under any ultrasound imaging system that is configured with the appropriate transducer. The recommended ultrasound transducer for our model is the high-frequency linear array ultrasound probe 5.0 – 12 MHz.
