Description
The second softest gel in our product line, Gelatin #4 features a supple, pliable texture that imitates the consistency of different organs and substances in the body. As such, it is a preferred training and research tool for healthcare professionals, who use it both in tactile procedures and in imaging.
This gel simulates the feel of a breast tissue, which softens as a result of an increase in soft tissue. It can also simulate intestinal tissue and subcutaneous fat that often results in open wounds. It also creates a distinct image when used in ultrasound, MRI and CT scans.
A freshly cast molding of Gelatin #4 will need to be handled with a level of care similar to the substances it imitates. However, it is a simple process to melt and remold, which allows for indefinite reusability and creates value for our customers.
