Easy to Use and Reuse

See how Humimic SimuGel™ makes melting, molding, and remelting simple — giving you more value and less prep time

Why Reuse with Humimic SimuGel

SimuGel™ is built for repeat use, giving educators, clinicians, and innovators more value from every session. Traditional gels take days to prepare and usually break down after one use. Humimic SimuGel™ changes that. You can melt, mold, and remelt it multiple times — and it keeps the same transparency, realistic feel, and consistent performance.

Here’s why reusability matters:

  • Cost savings — fewer replacements mean lower long-term training costs.
  • Consistency — clarity and tissue-like feel remain the same, session after session.
  • Convenience — no refrigeration or additives needed, just melt and reuse.
  • Sustainability — less material waste compared to single-use gels.

How It Works

Using SimuGel™ is simple. Just follow these steps to prepare, mold, and reuse:

Step 1: Heat – Warm the gel in a safe container to 250°F (125°C).

Step 2: Pour – Carefully pour into your mold and let it cool at room temperature.

Step 3: Train – Use the gel in your procedure, simulation, or imaging setup.

Step 4: Reuse – When finished, reheat and remold as needed. The gel maintains the same transparency and realistic feel every cycle.

⚠️ Safety Note: Always handle hot containers with care. Burns can occur if proper precautions aren’t taken.

Gel Options

Humimic SimuGel™ is available in a calibrated range of formulations designed to support different training and testing contexts. The SimuGel™ 0–5 system spans from lower-compliance, higher-resistance formulations to higher-compliance, lower-resistance formulations.

Typical uses:

  • Lower-compliance formulations (SimuGel™ 0–1):
Designed for applications requiring greater resistance and durability, including repeated procedural practice, device evaluation, and training scenarios where material stability and repeatability are critical.
  • Mid-range formulations (SimuGel™ 2–3):
Balanced for general procedural training and ultrasound-guided practice, offering controlled deformation with sufficient structure for manipulation-focused and imaging-based workflows.
  • Higher-compliance formulations (SimuGel™ 4–5):
Best suited for high-compliance simulation environments where low resistance and pronounced deformation are desired, such as layered models, palpation-focused training, and specialty soft-tissue scenarios.

You can also select clear or tinted versions of each formulation depending on whether ultrasound visualization or enhanced visual contrast is required for your training model.
