How It Works

Using SimuGel™ is simple. Just follow these steps to prepare, mold, and reuse: 

Step 1: Heat – Warm the gel in a safe container to 250°F (125°C). 

Step 2: Pour – Carefully pour into your mold and let it cool at room temperature. 

Step 3: Train – Use the gel in your procedure, simulation, or imaging setup. 

Step 4: Reuse – When finished, reheat and remold as needed. The gel maintains the same transparency and realistic feel every cycle. 

⚠️ Safety Note: Always handle hot containers with care. Burns can occur if proper precautions aren’t taken.

Gel Options

Humimic SimuGel™ comes in different softness levels so you can match the right gel to your training or testing needs. Each grade is numbered 0–5, with 0 being the toughest and 5 being the softest. 

Typical uses: 

• Softer gels (Grades 4–5): Ideal for suturing, needle insertion, and delicate procedural practice. 

• Medium gels (Grades 2–3): Balanced for general ultrasound imaging and procedural training. 

• Tougher gels (Grades 0–1): Best for hardware fixation, high-stress testing, or repeated use under pressure. 

You can also choose from varying levels of transparency, depending on whether you need a clear gel for ultrasound imaging or a more opaque option for visual realism.
