Black Tone Dye blends with Humimic gelatin to create opaque training models that hide internal targets. Ideal for advanced ultrasound-guided procedures.
Build opaque models that test real-world skills.
Clear phantoms make target detection too easy. Black Tone Dye gives your model an opaque finish, concealing internal features and pushing learners to refine their scanning and localization skillsโideal for ultrasound-guided procedures.
This highly concentrated formula mixes smoothly into clear Humimic gels, including those colored with tan dye for layered tones. It maintains the gelโs texture, acoustic properties, and shelf life, ensuring consistent performance.
As with all Humimic products, this dye works with our 100% synthetic medical gelatin, which is moldable, reusable, and stable at high temperatures. Always follow safety guidelines when melting gelatin, and know what temperature gelatin melts to prevent burns and preserve product quality.
Safety Note: Hot SimuGelโข can burn skin. Allow to cool before handling. Combustion may occur if temperatures exceed 250 ยบF (121 ยบC). Refer to MSDS for safety details.
No. It only changes the color, leaving the texture and imaging properties the same.
Yes. Combining with tan dye creates realistic layered effects for complex phantoms.
It can color multiple batches, depending on the desired opacity.
Humimicโs synthetic gelatin melts at up to 190ยฐF (88ยฐC). Avoid overheating to maintain quality.
Yes. The tinted gelatin can be melted and reused as long as it remains clean.
